WILSON’S Lake View of Petaling Jaya retained their Sabah Invitational Team tennis Tournament, also known as the “1Malaysia Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor Challenge Trophy, for the third straight year in Kota Kinabalu recently.
The champions received RM4,500 and tennis equipment, sponsored by Wilson for their efforts.
Among the participating teams were Kota Kinabalu, Tawau, Sandakan, Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
The tournament, which incepted four years ago, is aimed to promote tennis and also boost tourism in Sabah.
Sabah Tennis Association president Johnson Koh and Sutera Harbour Marina, Golf & Country Club general manager Brian E. Werner gave away the prizes.
